A Murphy Bed Cabinet is a stylish cabinet during the day and a bed at night. This beats the traditional pull out mattress and provides a stylish alternative to a sofa bed, or other convertible furniture, by offering a decorative solution for your home, and a sleep solution for those times when you have overnight guests. Unlike a standard murphy bed which takes an entire wall, this bed in a cabinet can fit into practically any room of your home and is a perfect way to add a bed to even a small space. The cabinet bed does not need to be attached to a wall and can easily fit in a room with lots of windows. Easy set up and installation allows you to effortlessly add an extra space for guests to sleep to your man cave, craft room, or home office. HOW DOES A MURPHY BED CABINET WORK?
How can something be a cabinet and a bed at the same time? The bed's mattress folds in three ways within the cabinet, leaving you or your guests with a comfortable place to sleep without any metal bars.
Here are the steps to convert our Murphy Bed Cabinet into a functioning bed. First, you open the bottom drawer all the way out. When you do this, leave enough space for the bed to unfold completely. Next, you release the latches on both sides of the bed cabinet. Then you pull out the extension from the bottom all the way. This holds the mattress in place and keeps it elevated above the ground. Then you flip open the cabinet front once, then again for the bed to be fully extended. After that, you unfold and pull out the mattress.
